When I think of Key West, I think of warm, tropical breezes and one big party. How surprised I was to open up this beer and get a whiff of something that smelled a lot like Old Style. The sharp Pils scent really betrayed a taste that was a lot smoother and creamier than the bite I expected. Overall, though, this is a pretty average beer. It’s not great, but it’s not crap either, and I suspect that if you’re a Midwesterner who does enjoy Old Style in the summer, then flies to Key West in the winter to sport Hawaiian shirts and drink away the cold weather, this might be right up your alley.
